Hello,
My name is Naya Cunningham. I am a Hypnotherapist, Personal Trainer, Energy Kinesiologist and a Biomechanics & spinal care exercise specialist. I’ve worked in the health and fitness industry for many years now, helping others and learning to help myself along the way.
Five years ago, I discovered the amazing powers of hypnosis and the importance of integrating the mind and body to work for you. My initial interest in hypnosis was for sports performance and confidence.
Then four years ago through an accident, I dislocated my tailbone. I suffered excruciating pain for three and a half years, while no one could properly diagnose my condition. Being unable to exercise, let alone walk to the letterbox without pain, I put on a great deal of weight. The weight gain affected me mentally and physically and I could really see no way out, as I had always believed that diet and exercise equaled a healthy body. And then suddenly, I could not exercise and as my self-confidence plummeted, food was fast becoming my best friend.
The answer was right under my nose, but I didn’t realize it, until I started to work with hypnosis to help others to lose weight. I saw incredible changes. Not just instant results, but lifelong eating problems being resolved and new strengths and focus emerging. Today, I work with people on a broad spectrum of mental, physical and emotional issues, however, weight loss continues to be my absolute favourite field. I find it incredibly rewarding, as I myself know how important it is to feel comfortable in your mind as well as your body. It’s not just about how we look. Functionally, we perform better when we are carrying the correct weight. Life is easier when your body can move and breathe easily.
